Ingredients

  • 3 cloves Garlic – diced
  • 5 cloves Shallot – diced
  • 1 sliced Red Chili
  • 1 cup Fish Stock
  • 1 Fish – cut into half
  • Water to cover the ingredients
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • Lime Zest
  • Salt & Pepper

Let’s Start Cooking!

  1. Begin with sautéing  Garlic, Shallot and Red Chili until fragrant.
  2. Put in the rest of the ingredients according to the order above and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. Correct seasoning and serve.

Notes

  • This recipe goes well with plain white rice.
  • Turmeric powder is used to reduce the ‘fishy’ smell as well as to give the yellowish colour. However, if you like the ‘fishy’ smell, you can omit this ingredient.
