Recipe: 10 Minute Baked Fish

We still have a few fish left in our fridge. As I don’t have much time to prepare the dish for our dinner, I decided to go with a simple yet delicious recipe.

As usual, I did the ‘4 steps in choosing a recipe’. This time, I came out with my very own recipe, which is ‘10 Minute Baked Fish’. Here’s how to cook it:

Ingredient

  • Medium size fish
  • Celery
  • Onion
  • Chili (optional)
  • Lime Zest
  • Salt and Pepper

Let’s Start Cooking

  1. Make a few slice on the fish. This is important as we want the flavour to penetrate into the fish’s flesh.
  2. Chop the Celery, Onion and Chili to your desired size.baked-fish-1
  3. Make a layer of chopped vegetables on a baking tin, followed by the fish and topped with another layer of vegetable (refer to diagram)
  4. Season with Salt, Pepper and Lime Zest.
  5. Cover with an aluminium foil and put it in a pre-heated oven (about 180 deg C). Bake for about 30 minutes.
  6. Take out from the oven, remove the foil and it is ready for your dinner!

So, why the recipe’s name is ‘10 Minute Baked Fish’?

Because it only takes 10 minutes to prepare everything before you let the fish to be cooked in the oven. Simple right?
